During our initial call, we can discuss what you’re looking for and talk about options other than therapy. I can send you resources more in line with what might work best for you. Therapy isn’t the only option.
-
During our consultation call, we'll briefly discuss what's been going on for you, what brings you to think about therapy at this time, and your goals to see if this is a good fit for you. I'll tell you what to expect in our work together, and we can discuss whether or not you think working together feels right for you. If you'd like to move forward, we can schedule our first appointment; if not, that's okay! We can talk about what you're looking for and what options make the most sense for you.

Sessions are typically $175 for individual sessions and $200 for couples or family sessions. I work on a “Green Bottle” sliding scale. During our initial phone call, we will determine if this is the best space for you to receive support and what the cost of the session will be.

No, I am an out-of-network provider and I can give you a superbill statement to give to your insurance for reimbursement.

That’s totally okay! I am happy to connect you with a therapist that is in-network with your insurance or any other therapist that may be a good match for you.

Sessions are online through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform called SimplePractice.

All payments are electronic. When you get the email for your Client Portal there will be a space to input your credit card, HSA, or FSA card. I do not accept cash or checks.

Individual therapy sessions are typically 50-60 minutes. Couples and family sessions are usually 75 minutes. Case management sessions are 30 minutes. In the beginning, we will meet weekly so we can clearly get working on your goals. After the first few sessions, we can meet less often depending on your needs and what’s most affordable for you.
-
That depends on your goals. I am trained to work with people on a short-term or long-term basis. We can create short-term goals and have structured sessions that get you to your goal as quickly as possible. Oftentimes therapy can bring up other things that we haven’t thought about or addressed before, which can extend the therapy processes. I work with people who have attended sessions regularly for years and people who meet their goal in therapy after 3-4 sessions; it’s important to know that it is a choice and not something you have to do unless you feel it’s beneficial.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), psychodrama, and sensory integration. During our consultation call, we can identify your goals and discuss the approaches that may work best for you.
